Hey, I'm Dani 👋
I build things for e-commerce. Started with mobile apps, realized I wanted to work with businesses where tech actually moves the needle, so I shifted to Shopify.
Now I help startups and scale-ups solve the messy problems between online and offline retail.
What I do
I work with retailers who need their physical and digital operations to work together without falling apart. Inventory systems, dropshipping integrations, omnichannel solutions - the stuff that looks simple until you're in it.
My first real project was BarefootYou - a complete dropshipping system that unified their inventory across channels. That's when I learned: I don't care about clever code. I care about whether it makes someone money.
Impact first, elegance second.
How I work
Currently based in Pipa, Brazil. I work around 8-10 hours a day; when I can, I squeeze in volleyball or the gym. Been nomading for a year - Thailand before this.
I keep a few Shopify clients (2-3 hours daily) and spend the rest building my own products. Right now that's a gym blocks app and tools to make omnichannel retail actually usable for mid-sized businesses.
Most e-commerce tools are built by developers for developers. Store managers shouldn't need tutorials to update inventory. That's the gap I'm filling.
Tech stuff
React Native, Shopify, whatever the project needs. I build with an enterprise mindset - clean architecture, proper testing, code that lasts - but I'm not precious about it. If a "worse" solution ships faster or works better for the client, that's what we're doing.
Years in companies taught me how to build systems that scale. Now I'm doing it for myself.
